They first met at Scott’s neighbor’s house, gathered around a bonfire with a deck of cards and a cribbage board. What was supposed to be a casual night turned into hours of laughing, talking, and playing cribbage under the stars. The very next day, Bethany told Scott he’d better take her out on a date.
